WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

RECYCLIN AND WILDLIFE by María Espinosa

We all know that recycling helps our planet reducing the co2 emissions and by helping us preserve non-renewable resources, but it can also help animals.

Some companies, to save money, throw away all their toxic waste to the sea. This waste contaminates water and wild sea animals end up dying.

But its not only them. When we go to the beach, for example, we leave trash there. Trash that ends in the sea, and there, animals can eat them.

Then there is the plastic that acts like a net, you know, the one that comes with the packs of cans. That plastic ends in the sea and when an animal gets near it, it gets stuck. The plastic won’t let the animal move or worse, don’t let it breath.

This occurs every day and we let it happen. And obviously recycling won’t make the problem disappear, but it would help. Banning plastic bags and using instead reusable bags would also help.

If we all try hard to change we can do it. Yes, it can be hard at first, since we are all accustomed to having plastic in our lives but if we make small steps we can change the world.
